No I did not see it coming and was quite shocked especially as Harry actually caused it. I didn't like Pounds but he didn't deserve to die like that.
Phrynne, I had my headphones on in the car with my husband when this was revealed and I was stunned! Evidently I uttered something and my mouth was wide open because he wanted to know what was wrong:) I never saw this coming. Like you, I didn't like him but this was a horrible death.
How funny Jonetta!Yes it was a shout out loud moment. I kept thinking how horrible and how must Harry feel.
I thought that when Harry signed Pounds' name to the party roster, he set that in motion, however unintended it was on his part. He had used Pounds' name in pranks when he was signing in at police branches, but this was a whole 'nother breach of good sense.
I really didn't see it coming. Like Harry, I thought Keisha would be the one to get murdered for sticking her nose in. That said, it makes sense given that throughout the entire first half of the book, Harry uses Pounds' name instead of his own and once he gets in Mittle's face at the party it was only a matter of time before something happened.
It's not often I get caught off guard so profoundly. Yes, Lauren, should have seen this coming but I thought the worst that would happen is that Pounds would get in trouble for something he didn't do. Dying wasn't even in my head!

I agree here . . . sooner or later, Harry's impersonating Pounds was going to cause trouble. I figured one of Harry's DMV searches would get back to Irving much sooner.
