Thanks for making the thread, Trisha.

but a little scared. everyone talks about how emotional it is!
I can't decide if we should just take a big breath and read it all in one sitting
or slow it waaaay down and just read a chapter or 2 a day! LOL
I guess we'll see when we get closer (and how behind we are by the 22nd! LOL)

um...THIS weekend (like tomorrow) or next weekend??
I'm good, i'll update update the day and move this back to to-read!

I have a book that's due back to the library tomorrow that I need to finish and then I'll get to Push Girl and this one. LOL
So fun, right? LOL

so I'm just grabbing and reading what sounds good :)
10 chapters
this isn't at all where I thought it would go

It's good to just pick up whatever you feel like. That's the best way anyhow! How do you like this one so far?
I think I told you how my daughters car was broken into and they stole her radio? Well, yesterday she's getting ready to take her kids to Santa Cruz boardwalk and she went in the trunk of her car to get something out of it and discovered that they had taken everything out of the trunk of her car too. She had a suitcase with clothes in it, shoes, boots, a $90 book for studying for her TEAS test for getting into RN school, another book, hair straightener, her stereo speakers. And the worst part is that they broke into her car where she works and there's no place else to park but where she was parked so there's that fear of them coming back again even if she did replace radio which isn't her priority but no sense of safety now.

ugh! How frustrating! I'm so sorry for what's she's going through

I remember when one of my sons was younger and we were on a church trip and he found $100 outside. I told him to turn it in to the church officials and maybe it belonged to someone attending. Well, they thanked him and told him how proud they were of him for turning it in. They kept announcing that they had "some lost money" and finally said it was the LAST day to pick it up or the person that found it was going to get the money. My son was all excited. LOL But, of course, someone claimed the money and knew how much it was. She was a little old lady who had nothing else. The pastor gave my son $10 for his honesty, so he was a little happy. His smile was more of one that didn't make it from ear to ear. He thought he had that $100. Not that stealing from wealthy people is any better, but you never know just what misery you can cost someone. It is awful!!

I don't think this had the emotional pull for me that it did for so many others....
