Cover Help!

I'm working with this author and the cover that was uploaded is NOT the finalized cover and should NOT have been uploaded to GR.

Am I correct in saying the covers cannot be deleted? I wasn't sure if there was a grey area since the book hasn't been published yet.

Also if that is true can we delete the book and add it again so that way this cover that was added is gone?

I see 4 editions of this book. Two of those editions have covers and two do not. Are you saying that the two that have covers have incorrect covers?

There is a grey area actually since the book has not been published. If the cover has never been released (no ARCS, no giveaways, no nothing), then the cover can be deleted. If there are ARCs, etc. floating around then we make an alternate cover edition and mark the ARC edition as the alternate.

Deleting the book itself would not be necessary.

ETA: Don't mind me. The covers showing are gone. It looks like another Librarian removed them. Now I do have to ask if they were on any ARC editions.

No, the book has barely been finished. Is there anyway to have the smaller covers removed that still show?

The covers you are seeing now will go away within the next 24-48 hours. The Goodreads cache just needs to catch up. They have definitely been deleted.

Good afternoon. I see a book by an author I read that is not showing a cover at the moment. How would I go about changing this?

Jason, do you own that particular edition? If so, you can scan or photograph the cover and we can add it. Or you can tell us where we can find an image of it online (no booksellers other than Amazon can be used for this).
