Victor Merling | 18 comments In this book a plane crashes on the top of a snowy mountain and due to some kind of chemical the dead passengers all rise from death. I believe they become the peaceful kind of zombie i.e. not flesh hungry.
Another thing I remember is that at the beginning of the book, before the first chapter they mention the first law of zymurgy about system dynamics that says that once you open a can of worms, you need a bigger can to contain the worms again.
Not very easy, I know, but it's all I remember.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments when did you read this book? Was it for adult, young adults or children?

Remember anything about the cover?

Victor Merling | 18 comments I think I read it in the early 90's. It was a book for adults. I believe the cover had a picture of snowy peaks.

I'm reminded of The Dead Mountaineer's Inn: One More Last Rite for the Detective Genre which does involve zombies, but there was no plane crash. I'm pretty sure they came in a UFO. It's a ridiculous, genre-crossing mystery/sci-fi work by the Strugatsky brothers.

Victor Merling | 18 comments It looks interesting. I'll check it out. But it's definitely not the one I'm looking for.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Did they refer to them as something other than "zombies?" Like, "walkers," "the undead, " "the infected," etc?

message 9: by Victor (new)

Victor Merling | 18 comments I don't remember at all.

Would you like us to abandon the thread? If you have zero interest in finding the book, we can abandon it.

However if you still are interested, we will keep it open.

We always suggest you bump the thread every so often (2 mos, 6 mos, 9 mos...) to get new members reading it. You really never know when someone might recognize your book.
