I live near a military base and my husband was a warrior. I have nothing but respect for these brave men and women who go in brave and come out the other side sometimes bent but not broken! They go through so much but they never give up. This book put those things out there like I have never seen before, the PTSD, the physical and emotional tolls they endure for our country. Hoo-yah! soldiers! Much respect Ms. Waters. I absolutely loved this book. I rarely post even when I really enjoy a book, but this one touched me like no other.

I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. It does mean a lot to me. Especially from someone who's loved a warrior. You put it so eloquently: bent but not broken. What a powerful statement, and oh so true.
B/Rgds,
Natasza
