Lauren (booklover723) | 10 comments I own 106 in books and out of all of them I stop reading 7 of them because they did not interest me anymore but never have I gone back to read any of them.

Sam (sam222) I have one book that has been on my shelf that I picked up in 2011 and then put it down for some reason and never picked it back up again. The strange thing is I really liked the book, that is way it puzzles so much as to why I never picked it back up again. I had plans of finishing it this year but I don t think that will happen so maybe next year I'll finally finish it.

Melissa Eisenmeier (carpelibrumbooks) Yeah. Sometimes I put a book down and start reading it months or years later.

Kate (rx_queen13) | 10 comments Recently I have put Spartan by Valerio Massimo Manfredi down, not because I don’t like it but because I have picked up so many interesting reads this month, that I have been dying to read for ages.

So I guess Spartan has been relegated for a month or so. That being said I never return to a book I didn’t like or lost interest in. There are just too many great stories to waste my time on the mediocre ones : D

DENISA HOWE | 116 comments yes I have and do often... I have found that by coming back sometimes if I keep trying... I'll hit a chapter later on in the book that brings back the interest I had in the book in the beginning.

♥♡¢σσкιє♥♡ (Krystle) (kookiekrysp88) I've put a book down and started it back up over a year later. It's a bad habit that I'm trying to break. lol

I do try again, but if I can't get into it a second time then its a goner for me

Paganalexandria I have to say yes, because I've been trying to read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy for 10 years now. There are certain books that are boring to me but their significance force me to power through anyway.

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Yes I do. It takes years though. Some books are just too good
