Have you ever regretted reading a book? Explain.

I have regretted reading The Mortal Instruments, because although it changed my life and gave me many friends and experiences, these books have given made me cry and given me so many feelings and I have spent so much money on merchandise and movie tickets and books, and I can't stop buying stuff because I'm obsessed. But they're still my favorite books.
