Thanks for checking: the new author page wasn't properly titled though: the librarian manual says no comma before suffixes like Jr. Fixed it.

except for douglas e richards, which is a GR author. the bad profile is empty anyway, so it'll eventually go away, but per other threads, I have stopped ignoring empty profiles and started editing them anyway. But I'm pretty sure the merge GR author thread has specific instructions NOT to include empty author profiles.

If a completely empty author profile has no books, no biographical information, followers or quotes -- I don't think anyone needs to edit. I would delete the profile or just leave it for the autosweep to delete.

(although personally I am really starting to question how often that autosweep runs; if frequently ran, maybe some data feeds need editing to remove bookless authors or something because my impression is that some of these empty profile have been around a very long time).
