Hi all! New Librarian here, and I seem to be having an issue with ensuring that the list of authors for anthologies is properly alphabetized (as is requested on the data entry screen). For some reason, it doesn't seem to matter how the names are entered -- they always come out in some (pseudo-?) random order. For instance, I spent the time on this anthology to enter everyone in the proper order, but now they're jumbled in the listing.
Is this a common thing for anyone else? Could it be some bizarre browser oddity (Mac OS X 10.5.7, Safari 4 beta 5528.17)? Should I even be terribly concerned about it?
I know that there's the little up/down arrows for moving authors around in the listing, but as I mentioned in another thread, that's only "easy" with a small list of authors...on a big anthology like this, it's a major pain, and I'd love it if there were a better sorting methodology.
Unfortunately, that's an outstanding bug in the multiple-author entry system. :( You can bring it up again in the Feedback group; that's usually the best way to get a developer to look into it sooner.
