Shane O'Neill (shanekponeill) Hi everyone

So far I've only made my books available on Amazon and therefore have it only available in mobi format for kindle. Can you advise me what I need to do to make my books available on Smashwords, Barnes & Noble and other retail sites as I'm certain the formats would be different for uploading. Please advise. Thanks.

Shane

Leslie aka StoreyBook Reviews (hugbandit7) do you have an agent that you use or an editor or publicist? perhaps they can direct you how to make it available on other sites.

I was at a convention with authors and Liliana Hart stated that authors should get their books on all formats (doesn't really recommend Smashwords too much just because of the lag in paying royalties).

Ottilie (ottilie_weber) | 8 comments I use smashwords they are slow with payment you have to hit I think $15 within the quarterly spots. However they do make it easy and nice to hit other markets.

V. Pain (Vpain) | 6 comments You make your own epub using adobe. Then visit barnes and noble's site all the way at the bottom there is a link which has their rules and it says for publishers and editors, follow the directions. It an be done in a day. They will take a pdf and so will google books. books.google.com two good starts they have a great tutorial as well!
