Annette | 7 comments It is a true story of a doctor written in diary form. I think he was in the Doctors without borders for about 3 months and maybe in Afghanistan.

There's also The Photographer by Emmanuel Guibert. Subtitle is "Into War-Torn Afghanistan With Doctors Without Borders." Takes place over a 3 month period in 1986.
