Is Pierce a weak character?

So my question is: What do you think about Pierce Oliviera?
I mean, she's not really weak, and can actually be pretty strong in some cases, but has anyone else felt something a little off about her? I don't know... maybe it's just me.

Im starting the third book. I dont think she is weak but she doesn't make the best decisions. Sometimes she doesn't get the clues and make decisions that can go really wrong. I love this series.

I think she handled herself pretty well thoughout the book and I kind of liked her :) was it something specifically about how she acted around other people or how she handled some situation?

versa Yeah. Maybe how she relies so much on John? IDK...

She's really annoying. She takes too long to make decisions.

Well, she survived a lot. And by a lot, I mean enough to drive a full grow adult straight into a mental asylum. I think she showed how strong she can be, but she honestly didn't think things through before going about trying to fix the world. Despite the circumstances, she was also pretty naïve, which some people mistake for weakness. She had so much empathy and feeling for others that she sometimes ended up doing really idiotic things, which could also be mistaken for weakness. In general, Pierce thought with her heart, not her brain, which can be viewed as weakness.

I think she is pretty weak. She cries ALL THE TIME! If the book was based on her alone and John wasn't in it I definitely wouldn't have continued reading it. The thing is that John is pretty strong so it balances out the weakness that comes from Pierce

Ugh Pierce is so annoying. She's whiny and easily distracted. And to describe her as weak is not even appropriate as there aren't enough stressful or intimidating situations in this "book" for her develop and "weak" characteristics. She just drones on and on about all her shallow problems and her parents' divorce and all her insignificant depressed-teen issues. Ignoring the real issue that she actually died. The author turned a good plot into something horrible and shallow. I just CAN'T.

I am not sure about weak, but she really takes bad decision, is really bad judging others, sometimes I even think she is really mean with her parents (especially her dad).
Honestly, she is not my favorite character in the book...

Personally I love this series. Pierce is annoying at times but then again what main character isn't. I think that can be part of the draw to make you continue reading sometimes. There are so many books that I love where I think the main character can be a complete and total moron, but I have to stick it out, and sure enough they come back around. I love John!

I've just read the first book. So far, I find Pierce very annoying! She loves John, yet she doesn't want to be with him. When John keeps her in the Underworld to protect her, she just complains even though its for her own safety.

I genuinely liked Pierce in Abandon. Never felt she was being weak. Though second part sucked, comparing to what I expected.
