Tried searching for this, but couldn't find anything about it.

I would like to make samples of my books available on Goodreads. Can I use my Smashwords ePub? Or do I have to create a new edition without the Smashwords publication statement?

Extracts can have publisher links. No problem. When you add an epub it will ask you what percentage you want the user to be able to read. I doesn't always work. If you can make an epub which only contains the extract it will be better.

From the edit page of the book, click on "upload an e-book". Might work from dashboard as well.
