Locke comes clean (mostly) to the captain and Jean gets close to the Lt. They seem to reconcile with each other, but I'm not so sure.
I'll be curious what the captain does. I doubt she'll say no because it would make the last few chapters mostly pointless.

So with the backing of the pirates, Jean and Locke return. Jean and the first mate are in love.
Utgar looks to be betraying his captain for money and a berth on another pirate ship. But would you trust someone who is betraying their captain to be loyal to you?
I find it odd that Stragos doesn't mention the guards that were killed during the prison break.
We end this part at the scene from the prologue and color me confused. I'm hoping to finally get an explanation early in the next chapter.

Oh and my guess is that Utgar is going to go after the Captain's children to make her cooperate, otherwise what point do they really serve in the story?

Now it will be interesting to see how the whole business with Jean is going to play out.
