Things are feeling a bit repetitive with the last book. Danger coming from multiple sides and someone having it over the Bastards. Now possibly a fourth party is trying to kill them?

This happened only mid way last book, so I'm a bit curious how he will try to hold our attention for another 450 pages? I kind of liked the build-up last time a bit better, but it's still early in the book, so let's see what happens.
I do hope we'll meet a few other characters soon. I find myself missing Bug and the twins for the lighter banter.
Selendri might be a good addition. Or the famous, but very absent Sabetha of course.
This book took longer to get started than I liked, but I think you'll enjoy what comes next.
Then again, I liked the last book a lot more than you, so I could be wrong.

On the other hand the feeling of having multiple parties with different interests is quite intriguing.
And I really like the new setting. The whole description of the Glass Blower street, the pedestrian with the bird, the masked guards of the Archon, etc. spekas to my sense of wonder.
But now would be a good time to give away one or two things Mr. Lynch. I feel that I have questions about all the parties involved, what they are up to and what they want with Locke and Jean. At least the Archon could have told them what he expects them to do.
