Jordan Did any of you notice these allusions (As copied from Wikipedia) in the stories. I read them and totally had an Aha! moment. ---

When Owen drives Annabel home and she is looking through his CD's, he has Truth Squad's CD in his backseat from This Lullaby.

On Owen's radio show, the first morning Annabel listens she mentions a song that sounds like a shopping list. That is probably Truth Squad's 'Potato Opus' from This Lullaby.

Owen's mother mentions that she and Mallory are taking a mother-daughter class run by Boo Connell, who was Caitlin's neighbor in Dreamland.

One time when Annabel and Owen are at 'The World Of Waffles' Annabel mentions: "On our other side there was a couple about our age eating waffles, both in running clothes: The girl had blonde hair and an elastic around her wrist, while the guy was taller and darker, the bottom part of a tattoo just visible under his shirtsleeve." That is Macy and Wes from The Truth About Forever.

Owen and Annabel go to Bendo, a club mentioned in This Lullaby also, to see Truth Squad perform. Rolly, Owen's best friend is Ted's cousin. Owen and Annabel go backstage and meet a guy named Dexter and his girlfriend who is touring with them while she is on fall break from Stanford, which is Remy, who is shown to be clearly happy with him.

Annabel is a Lakeview Model. In That Summer, Haven watches the fashion show, although not one that Annabel was in.

In Lock and Key, Nate listens to Annabel from Just Listen on the community radio.

In What Happened to Goodbye, the character Mclean mentions that sitting across from her is a pretty blond girl, and a very tall broad shouldered guy, sharing earphones with an iPod arguing good naturedly about the music playing. This being Annabel and Owen. [This one made me laugh out loud as I had just read this book.]

In Lock and Key Jamie enlists a guy who one of his employees knows from Anger Management class, who is a music freak, to help him with Cora's CD for Valentine's Day. This guy is Owen.

Owen's sister and her friends visit the jewelry stand Ruby works at in Lock and Key look at the key necklaces. Mallory mentions her brother's girlfriend has one of those necklaces.

In The Moon and More Luke has a friend named Will. It isn't clear if this is Will Cash.

----
Did any of you just go "Holy crap!" or did you already notice these?

Cali . I read these too! I actually realized the lock necklace thing when I was reading the book and the thing about Truth Squad but I didn't even piece any of the other stuff together! xD

Netanya All of Sarah Dessen's books elude to other books. I always find myself rereading her novels and piecing together the people in each book. I think seeing her books brought to life in a movie/tv show series would be very interesting because then these quirks would be a lot more noticeable...

That would be so great! I agree with you 100%. But they would have to include everything not like some movies based of books.
