Michelle Morgan (mjbookeditor) | 56 comments Hey friends! This week's blog topic is the flip side of last week's. If you've finished a manuscript and you're shopping around for a book editor, you might find this particularly helpful. I hope so anyway!

Here's the link: http://www.mjbookeditor.com/blog/

Another big thanks to Suzie O'Connell for your comments that helped inspire this topic during last week's discussion. :)

Happy writing, y'all!

Ruth Feiertag | 116 comments Michelle,

I have a somewhat similar page on my site as well (http://www.penknife-editing.net/wp-ad...), but I like some of the issues you raise. It's not easy to prepare to send off a text for a critique: you do a nice job of preparing an author for what's to come.

Ruth Feiertag | 116 comments It is indeed nice to have a chat on this discussion beyond the announcements of availability. There was a discussion of a similar posting on LinkedIn: http://editmore.com/top-10-ways-to-ma...#!.

Teresa Kennedy | 61 comments I've just done an interview that might be helpful. As an editor, I expect authors to come at every stage of the process, but if you read to the what's Great/and most difficult about working with authors, it helps to see from an editor's point of view. Enjoy!

Need an editor? Or want to be one? Got a new interview up! Check it out,People! Likes and Shares and + MUCH appreciated!

Teresa Kennedy | 61 comments Got a testimonial today from author Genevieve Crownson... Shucks, I'm blushing!
"Good Editors are hard to find, truly inspiring editors rare. Teresa Kennedy is truly one of these rare diamonds. If you have a chance to work with her--do not hesitate. She will take your books to heights you never even realized possible. I wouldn't trust my books to anyone else!"

Ruth Feiertag | 116 comments Teresa,

That's fantastic! Congratulations. I appreciated your latest post by the way, these two lines especially:

"Equally, they become less concerned about plot if your plot is not something that happens to character but you have a character that “happens” to the plot."

and

"Because that’s why readers read stories—to learn something about how to navigate our lives that the culture of personality or celebrity fails to offer."

Is there anyway to sign up for your blog? I saw an option for Google Friend Connect, but I'm not part of that.

Ruth
