I loved Calo and Galdo and Bug, they were so funny, now that they are dead it feels strange, only two Gentleman Bastards, I haven't read the next book yet but if they add more I hope they are as funny and entertaining as the originals.

OMG! I'm so sorry! I can't believe it didn't occur to me that there people who didn't read the whole book yet, what is wrong with me?!! I would be so mad if someone did this to me! I'm horrified so so sorry!

That's totally okay! It's understandable to be so heartbroken by that scene that you just need to tackle a group who understand and discuss it :) Really, it's Scott's fault for being so harsh on his poor readers (something he's very proud of.)

I was devastated, but these are and remain my favourite books. Jean is my favourite character - well him and Locke together - but I love them all really. Scott Lynch is a talented writer!
Scott Lynch is brilliant. I felt privileged to discover this series. Locke is just such an incredible character. His brains plus Jeans fighting skills and their unstoppable! But yet they always seem to come face to face with death, and make a great many mistakes, which is why there's never a boring minute! I just wish Scott would get writing writing writing. Republic of Thieves needs to be out RIGHT NOW! :D :P :)
Republic of thieves was on giveaway here on goodreads, they gave away 20 books! I didn't win :(

Nope, they get them early :) Publishers usually give away a few copies early so there's reviews/ratings available before the book is, for those who happen across the book in a store without knowing anything more about it. If they search for it, some ratings at least come up.
Quite a few publishers have reviewers who run their own websites, who get the books months and months beforehand (so they have time to read and review whilst busy with all other books/work), so if you have means, it's usually kinda easy to get an early copy of the book.

I had forgotten that they died, I really loved Calo and Galdo so much they were so sassy.
