Embrace and Conquer are a few titles I have on my "besotted hero" shelf. For a dark erotic read Comfort Food is another one. But beware, it's DARK
Is it okay of the hero has been in love long before the story begins? Like since childhood or teenage years? As long as he's the one who has feelings first?

"Oooh!! Good ones, Marta!!

COMFORT FOOD???? That's not love... He's not in love with her..
I second Big Bad Beast, also I absolutely adored Miss Congeniality by Shelly Laurenston as well. It's a shorter story in the anthology When He Was Bad, I believe. Despite being a short story it is fantastic. There's also The Beast in Him from Laurenston as well.

I've been on a Roxie Rivera kick lately and it's a running thing in her books for the heroes to be all-in from the get-go. Besides
, the rest of her Russian Protector series (and the Connolly Brothers) heroes are all hopelessly in love with the heroine's before the story begins.
I've had a friend highly recommend those to me since I love Russian heroes. Need to get reading that series, Shannon.

Plus, the last of the Connolly Brothers books (In Finn's heart) is set to come out next month. Warning: read them all in order or you could be confused by the many, many players!

Because of the backstory in each one you really do need to read in order.
Oh, man Kostya is going to be the best! He's just so bad. Ex-KGB, hitman, cleaner. When he pulled that guy's tooth out of his head, I knew his love story would be awesome. What kind of woman would tame him? I hope Holly is worthy.
Unfortunately Shannon I think we have to wait until later this year to find out if Holly is worthy of Kostya, or should that be the other way around? LOL Sigh, nothing like a long wait to make the story that much more delicious when you finally get it in your hot little hands.

Born of Night I loved this one but I hope I remembered it right and it fits with what you are looking for. Promises Prevail is a good one.
