Been getting some fabulous comments about The Dark Side, now that all three books are 'out there'.
The way Nathan is, you can tell he likes Eva, but can he tell her? If you want it to work, then say something and work on it. Sex isn't the whole world, but in this genre it kinda is. Won't complain though, this is some wicked cool writing by Ashe.
The scenes are hotter and some made me giggle
Nathan is fun, he's never fully naked when they start something. He always has her naked first and set up while he’s all half undressed. He loves being a tease, and who doesn't like that? Gives more entertainment for us readers.
So just that small room scene was HOT, like he takes her to a limit before he finally gives it all to her. Ah, loving this book and it's only about 4 chapters in. Yep, I'm gonna say this book is much hotter than book 1. Wonder how hot the next book can get.

Fabulous read - emotional, gritty, sensual.
Tom Shore is an alpha male to get spanked for - and he can certainly dish it out! He's hard core with a seriously soft centre. Yummy! Ouch!

Ashley’s story is an emotional one. So much pain, so much sorrow, so much loss. Her last loss turned me into a sobbing pile of goo. The two of them together is a very tumultuous relationship.
Really it’s the journey that Tom and Ashley take together that really makes the story. The sex is an added bonus and very tastefully done.
In the blurb, Ms Barker states that this book “ends on a cliffhanger that some readers might find upsetting” UNDERSTATEMENT! No, no, no!!!! This isn’t the one I was expecting and I was caught completely unprepared. Of course, I anticipated something else. What a way to throw a curve-ball at me. :(
This is most definitely a recommended read. Ashe Barker’s stories will draw you in and have you aching to find out more. If you haven’t had a chance to read the Dark Side trilogy I suggest you do. It isn’t necessary but it will give a bit more background to several of the characters.
