Actually, I usually love seeing someone check out a book I love. Spread the joy to more readers!! Plus I'm pretty much trained to recognize that more circulation (items being checked out) means more money from the state. We are always trying to increase those circulation numbers!! I do cringe when particular patrons check out books.....they come back reeking of cigarette smoke and need aired out. *sigh*

JOOOOOOO!!! Haven't seen you here for a while. :)

The exam was...okay. I messed up quite a bit on my technique (everything else went reasonably well), but only because it was the first thing I did in the exam and I was really nervous (this was my first piano exam ever) for about the first ten minutes and my heart was just beating SO HARD. You know those moments in books sometimes when a character is like, "My heart was beating so hard that I bet everyone could hear it and it felt like it was about to pop out of my chest"?

I was that character.

Yeah, the exam could have gone better, but it also could have gone much worse.

To put gifs in you have to copy the image url (or link) and put in the text box. At the beginning of the link you write < img src=" and at the end of the link you write " > (but don't put any spaces...I just did that because otherwise it would show up as an error box). So it will look like this: < img src="yourlink" > (minus the spaces) but it doesn't necessarily work all the time...sometimes you do just have to put the link in and leave it. Feel free to test it out on here with any random gif if you'd like to. :)
