can't remember book title

Hi, I read a book a few years back and I can't remember the title or author. It was about a girl, we later find out she is an heiress, who moves to a small town to be a schoolteacher, on the way she gets in a car accident and is saved by a man, possibly a firefighter. I think her name is Jess, possibly Jessica. The title was one word, I keep thinking the title is secrets but can't find the book anywhere please help, I would like to read the book again, thanks

Oh and she later falls in love with the man, ends up with a scar on her lip from the accident, feels it is disfiguring but will not let her rich father part for plastic surgery to fix it
