Chapter 12 (view spoiler)[ I did not want to believe that Brimstone and the others were actually dead (I don't remember Akiva mentioning the specifics) but the chapters with Akiva have led me to believe that its true. And when a certain girl was caught in footage stealing teeth I became extremely happy for about 2 seconds, thinking that she is going to resurrect them. Then I remembered that she would need their souls - which she does not have :( (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Little confused but I like the story so far. I feel like we are being given bits of general information of whats happening all over Eretz to pull us into the world. I'm utterly creeped out by what Karou is doing by making the chimaera monstrous - although I guess she sees it as the only option. (hide spoiler)]

But no, apparently they were going to invade the Stelians - and I bought that, even though I was suspicious because there was no concrete reason as to why they would want to do that. Turns out, they ARE invading Earth. Joy. I hate Jael. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 79 (view spoiler)[ Oh poor Ziri. I think my heart stopped when The White Wolf came into Karou's room - there was no way I watched him die just to be alive again. Then it is revealed that it isn't Thiago, but Ziri. And knowing that this cost him everything - his Kirin body, his innocence - broke my heart. (hide spoiler)]

Things are really happening fast and I like that. So Thiago found Karou in the temple and now she's helping the revolution.

The way Laini Taylor described everything that happened, was very interesting though. It wasn't linear, so it made me very curious.

But I must say one thing. On the first book I didn't like Thiago at all. He was a jerk. At least thorugh Madrigal's eyes. But now I'm kind of liking him. I swear that I'm asking myself why I'm liking this jerk, but I am. I don't care about Akiva right now and I'm liking Thiago. Am I crazy?
