He raises one of his eyebrows, "What?" He asks.

"You finally realize you are a good hugger" she says giggling a little

she smiles at him sweetly her eyes meeting his

Ryker looks at her, raising his eyebrow, her eyes meet his. his heart started beating faster, not sure why.

she smiled at him and as their eyes lock her heart seems to do somersaults in her chest

He smiles a bit back at her, his lips perked up at the edges.

"You have a handsome smile to... gosh! you need to smile more to" she says melting at the sight of his smile

He can't help but smile more, "Haha, I've never really heard this stuff before."

"I don't know why not!! your smile is amazing!!" she says smiling

"Probably because I don't smile much." He says.

"Then there is your mistake" she says laughing softly

He laughs a bit, "Yah, I guess. But I've never had a reason to smile."

"Well you need to find one.. because a smile that the shouldn't be hidden" she says smiling at him

He nods, looking to the side, "Yah...."

"Sorry.." she says thinking she upset him

"For what?" He asks.

"I thought i upset you..." she says blushing slightly for a unknown reason

He shakes his head, "you didn't."

"Oh, okay" she says not looking at him getting sudden butterflies

Kat walked in the front doors

Ryker nods.

Ash walks into the school, his back was killing him, he was surprised he could move, it had been a few days since the whipping.

Cherry didn't know what to say, but didn't want the conversation to be over

Kat was at her locker a bunch of girls gathering near it... it was time for the daily insults!

Ash limps over to his locker, unlocking it and opening it. He found a note in it. He bit his lip, he didn't know if it was from Kat or bullying....

Ryker sighs, not knowing what to say either, he was so quiet....

Cherry looks up at him her eyes suddenly get lost in his

Kat got her stuff and rushed away before they could say anything she saw Ash and ran over to him

He blinks a few times, feeling a bit self conchous, but he didn't move.

Ash read the note Did you finally jump off the cliff? If not, you probably should soon. He bit his lip, seeing who the note was from, Steph. He closes his eyes, squeezing the note in his hand, putting it into his pocket when he seen Kat.

she realized what she was doing and blushed looking away quickly

Kat looked him over "How are you feeling" she asked him softly

"Sore." he says moving his shoulder slightly, "I can't bend over." He says.

Ryker bites his lip, "We should probably get to class."

"Y-yeah..." she says standing quickly

"I wish i could do something... do you need a pain killer?" she asked him

Ash shakes his head, "i'm not supposed to have meds. Well.... I don't like taking them."

Ryker nods, "Come on."

"Oh... okay..." she says with a sigh... waning to help him, but knowing there was noting to be done

"Nice meeting you.." she says quietly

Ash nods, "It's okay."

"And you as well." he says nodding.

Cherry rushes off not trusting herself not to ruin things

"What's thAT? she asked him looking at his pocket where a piece of paper was sticking out

He put his hand on the paper, "Just some notes." He says, "no big deal." He says. He didn't specify what kind of notes.

"Are you sure?" she asked him kindly knowing it probably was more than school notes

He nods, "Yah. It's not important." He says pushing them farther in his pocket.

"Alright" she says sighing she knew it was more that what he had let on

He smiles a bit, "Yah. We should probably get to class, huh?"

"Nah" she says jokingly "I'll walk you to class and just tell my teacher you need help so i helped you" she says smiling

"Why would I need help?" He asks raising his eyebrow, "They can't know i"m hurt...."

she sighs "Ash it's obvious you are barely standing on your own feet!" she whispered to him

Ash nods, "I will." He says softly, turning his head and kissing her forehead, "I always am."

she smiled up at him "See you after class" she says walking away unwillingly

He waves, walking to his class as well.

she walked to class waiting for the bell

The bell rung and she rushed back to her locker hoping to check on Ash

Ash hung his head as he walks through the hall, not hitting his locker, like he always didn't. The guys liked hanging out there waiting for him.

Kat pushed past some girls but was beat to ash by a group of girls that approached him
"Hey freak!" one said laughing
"You into that dorky freak Kat?" one snapped
"Shame... he is cute..." another one said
the final one laughed and says "Not a shame just yet" Says the girl as she shoves him into a locker and a girl starts to make out with Ash whither he wanted her to or not while the other girls stood around laughing
