Searching for names with/without ë, special characters

Hi,

When I first joined Goodreads Zoë Sharp's books would be included in results if a search was requested for Zoe. Since disambiguation? Claiming her author profile with ë? this no longer happens. If a reader looking for her doesn't know the code for ë (or forgets it like I did this morning), I'm wondering why the system no longer picks up both?

It isn't a problem if a book title is searched for, though I generally search for authors.

Would it be better to post this in the feedback group?
