As best I can tell there are 31 chapters. I got it from Netgalley and the formatting is a little screwy. It looks like maybe there are pictures or graphics of some kind but they aren't coming through...

So if we want to be finished by Monday we would need to do 8 chapters a day...?

I like the book so far. It is pretty cool how her dad hide the truth in the bedtime stories she assumed were just fantasy. She then uses those stories to help her find her dad. I like Everson. Rafe is the bad boy in the book that I can see will play a major role in the story.

Sorry I haven't posted here yet :) I was behind and then my Kindle died yesterday - First time that has happened since I got it. I usually charge it every night but for some reason forgot to put it on the charger Friday night.

Anyway...I like Everson, too (what's the deal with naming your children after places?). I'm only about 40% through but I will still finish tonight. I'm hoping we will see more of him - I'm assuming we will or why would he have been so prominent in the beginning?

I'm really liking Rafe, too, though he is scary. Lane is so naive about things, even though she doesn't realize it. The chimpacabera was pretty creepy. All of the different mutant animal groups are interesting. Wonder what she will run into next?

I am really liking this story. It's sort of like Hunger Games meets Divergent meets Island of Dr. Maroue

The whole concept is pretty cool. I am at 80% and I am loving it. The author has so many twists in this book!

Wow, I loved it, too. It was different from what I thought it would be. I loved Rafe and Everson and their back and forth between each other. I love Rafe! He's going to be awesome as a tiger...

I want the next book already and this one isn't even technically out yet!

I was so sad that Rafe got bit and that he chose to stay. I like Cosmo. I was back and forth on how I felt about both Rafe and Everson. Did you see the whole Chorda situation playing out like that?

No, I wasn't expecting Chorda at all. I kind of thought (before he caught her by the lake of course) that he might turn into an unexpected ally.

I did too. The heart comment made sense when we found out how the feral killed those people. I never would have thought that he would have been the King of Chicago.

It looks good. I don't think you have to add the book cover to the Netgalley review because that actually gets sent to the publisher. It doesn't get published on Netgalley.
