I really liked that Karou is already in the center of the quimera's world and that the authour introduced it all very well.

Chapter 1-5: (view spoiler)[ Everyone kept telling me to read this book but I was reluctant to read it. I thought it wasn't my cup of tea and that the summary didn't sound that interesting. The only reason I picked this up was because it was available in my library one fateful day that I went there. After 5 chapters...I guess everyone was right. This book is kicking my butt for even doubting it. After 5 chapters, I've literally laughed out loud, fell in love with the characters, and kept begging for more. I LOVE Karou. She's bold, vindictive, unique, carefree, different and still flawed. She's honest even though no one believes her but she doesn't care what others think. This book has mysteriously given her so much depth and mystery at the same time within the first few chapters. Amazing! I can't wait to see how the story progresses. (hide spoiler)]

I didn't like it much. When Madrigal (is that how it's spelled?) POV started, I though the book started to get better. But then it kept going on and on...
