I'm on page 137 and I'm really loving it so far. I've first read the 65% of this in July but gave up, but now I'm appreciating it more than before. I'm still baffled (view spoiler)[what Brimstone does with teeth, how he found Karou and what made him take care of her, when did Karou start the travels and as a child, what were her reactions to living with such kind of creatures when her features are for humans (although she's not one). The heroine's development is one of the things I love in this book, too, plus the world building is awesome and seems unique.

I'm on page 328, Chapter 49. The use of teeth is now explained and my guess was correct! (view spoiler)[The title only made sense and gave justice what the teeth are for, but I'm curious how they/Brimstone does it and what other material/s he use/s.

The teeth business and the evanescence was discussed, as well as the history of the chimaera and the seraphim. The world building is so interesting. Everything was justified and so far, I'm satisfied with the answers.

Just a heads up, I'm in Disney world (Woot woot!!!) so my reading might be a little sporadic. However, I did start today and I have gotten 93 pages in. The writing is just so perfectly flowing that it doesn't quite feel like reading, but like watching a movie. Also, it is so easy to relate to Karou, she's pretty cool!

@Shavony I don't know why but I think (view spoiler)[ the angel and the demon are Karou's parents. Mainly because of the name of the book. Angels are smoke because of the burned hand prints and demons are bones because of all the teeth. Also because she has no idea where she came from or who her parents are.
