I got mine thru the Book-of-the-month Club 2 and had no trouble. Usually it'll be available on SciFi Book Club too if BOMC2 has it.I'd recommend BOMC2 to everyone, actually. It costs me $9.95 a month but works like Netflix (except you are buying, not renting). You build a queue and it takes the top one each month and sends it automatically. That price includes shipping and the books are hardcovers. They don't have all the selections we choose to read in this group, but they have several. Anyway, not trying to sell anything, it's just a good value to me....
I requested a copy from the library and hope I get it this week. I've been watching for this one and The Forever War at all my usual book store haunts with no luck.
I actually got my copy at the local Barnes and Noble. Amazon probably didn't have many in stock and then had a run on it. Hope everyone is able to get a copy.
I'm getting a copy from Amazon, and had no problem. Weird. Hmmm...guess I'll check and make sure I ordered the right book. Heh.
Amazon.ca has it too. There seem to be a lot of sellers in the States that are selling both the June books through Amazon, used and new, so I wouldn't think there'd be too big a problem.
I was planning on listening to this one and it is available for download as an e-audiobook from our public library. I think it could be the same for many other libraries, so check that out too.
I got my copy off-the-shelf at Barnes & Noble. The book is a quick opener and a fast read. I'll hold further comment until the discussion begins, except to say there may be a paradox related to bail money.

So, let me borrow your copy. :P BooksAMillion at the Legends didn't have anything by this author. I was very disappointed.
I would love to jon but it is in kindle format on my I phone not sure it can be transfered. Anyone know how to transfer a kindle doc to print or adobe etc.I was very upset when waldens in Leavenworth closed. I am too impatient to wait for the library and have to drive to KC to brouse for books not fair
I almost bought the MobiPocket version from Fictionwise yesterday (and I may still end up doing that today). No, you can't transfer it, nor print it nor convert it to anything. It's DRM infested (i.e. secured and encrypted).
I've got errands to run at lunch and will stop by Barnes & Nobel on the Plaza and maybe Half Price books in Westport. Good thing I'm salaried and can take a long lunch on a Friday! :)
Success! Barnes & Noble on the Plaza had both Accidental Time Machine and The Forever War on the shelf. That's the best way to spend lunch: finding exactly what you want/need at the book store. :)
picked my copy up off the shelf at b&n as well.already have some idea's for topic's-will start reading the book today. looking forward to the discussion. happy travelin'.
