Sounds expensive to me. You have to pay $50 a month, then buy up to 6 ebooks a day to trade with other authors. If the books average 3.99 each, that's almost 800 bucks a month.
Honestly, it sounds like a pyramid scheme to me, and yes, expensive. It may or may not generate some traffic on your title, but judging by the number of very low-ranked books that pop up on my recommendations page on Amazon, the engine that drives that must be only partly based on the sales ranking. And unless your title has a very broad-based appeal, I could see it turning up on the pages of people who have no interest in reading your genre and won't buy your book no matter what it's ranking is.
Two points to consider: As I understand it, you're supposed to reduce the price of your book to $.99, bringing the max. cost down to $180 a month. Also, the only books that appear on my recommendations page are in the same genre as the books I've purchased or looked at.Still, it seems that they've only gotten 23 people to sign up thus far, and they're not going to start until they reach 60.
Why not just buy your own books? Then give them away to people to read them for you.
