You know you're a nerd when...

You know you're a nerd when books are better than money exept if that money is used to buy books

When I'm reading my friends yell my name and I don't notice, and then they TAKE MY BOOK AWAY!!!
Who does that?!
Who does that?!
You know you're a nerd when you freak out when you forgot your book.
You know you're a nerd when the librarian stays after school just so you can read for half an hour.

Or when they know you by name, and when you don't come in everyday they wonder where you are.
Or when they know you by name, and when you don't come in everyday they wonder where you are.
You know you are a nerd when you hate a fictional character more than you hate anyone in real life
You know you're a nerd when... people laterally have to force the book your reading out of your hands.

You know you are a nerd when you care more about what will happen in the lives of fictional character than you do about what grade you get in school
You know you're a nerd when you bring Shakespere's Star Wars Verily a New Hope for your book to read at school.
You know your a nerd when you obsess over a book.

You know you're a nerd when someone's talking about something important and you are reading and every time they pause you say "uh hu." Then when they are done they ask, "were you listening to anything i just said?" and you say "no" and then they keep talking and you repeat the process.
You know you are a nerd when you make fandom references no one gets....or you silently make fandom references because you know no one will get them....
You know you're a nerd when you have dreams about Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston...
And when you get into extremely heated arguments about the above.

@Christina: hehe, that's awesome!

Agreed! My parents are very accepting of my bibliophilicness (pretty sure I just invented a word XD)
One time, I said something rather loudly at my book (Throne of Glass; I think it was about how come she's equally flirty with two dudes in the same minute), and my mom poked her head through the doorway and was like "Are you talking to me, or the book?" and I cracked up. ^_^ Hee hee

And it was something along the lines of "Seriously?! Either pick one of them or don't pick either and go kill somebody! I'm sick of this mushy dialogue!"
So yes, my mom was rather confused ^_^

Haha, that's hilarious! I'm curious, what did you yell?"
My mom still tells me to read less fiction....She has come a round, but only to a point. *sigh*
