Thank you

Kayleigh | 97 comments Wow, congratulations.

I feel like there should be some kind of medal you should get at the end for completing them all

or a bookmark!

The bookmark is a good idea, maybe I'll buy myself one

Just finished For Whom the Bell Tolls from our 100 list.

message 108: by [deleted user] (new)

For Whom the Bell Tolls is my favorite Hemingway.

So far it's my favourite too, with The Old Man and The Sea a close second.

Read Hyperion: 47 from the 100 list, I love sci.fi.

message 113: by Buck (new)

Buck (spectru) There are four books in the Hyperion cantos. They are all worth reading. My favorite was the third book, Endymion.

message 114: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, the first book ends on a cliff hanger so I have already bought the next in the series. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Just finished Pet Sematary by Stephen King from the 100 list. Scary stuff.

message 116: by Illona (new)

Illona (issr) | 6 comments I really enjoyed reading Stephen King books, especially the short stories. The Shining was probably one of the scariest, too scary, so I started reading science fiction instead.

message 117: by [deleted user] (new)

I like sci-fi too. The ending of Pet Sematary left you wanting to know what happened next, but also not wanting to know.

message 118: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished 24 The Last Man from the 100 list. Very melodramatic, but I liked it.

message 119: by [deleted user] (new)

Read 16 on the 100 list A Farewell to Arms and 28 The Fault in Our Stars

A Farewell to Arms was ok, but I loved The Fault in Ours Stars, very moving.

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished 56 from the 100 list. The Name of the Wind

message 121: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished Tender Is the Night - from the 100 list

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished Jurassic Park 68 on the 100 list

Just read How Green Was My Valley - 90 from the 100 list. Beautiful book.

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Finished 83 from the 100 list - The Corrections

Yes indeed.

Just finished Colour of Magic by Terry Patchet

I really enjoyed this but I don't know if I will carry on and read the rest of the series. 40 odd books seems like a bit too much.

I read the first two. I've been told that later books are better. I figure I'll probably read some more in the Discworld series eventually, but I agree, 40+ is too much

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

Just finished The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway from the 100 list.

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

Just finished - We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver from the 100 list. That is the best book I've read in awhile it was really well written.
