This question may seem silly but as a new indie author, I still struggle with the simple things.
I've been asked to do some free giveaways on blogs and although I'm happy to do so, I really don't know how.
I mean I know how to give a free coupon on Smashwords, but I'm assuming most blog readers would prefer a free Amazon copy.
Does anyone know how I can give a free coupon or gift of my book via Amazon?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks fellow authors,
Julie :)

You can gift a copy through Amazon, but only in the US. If it's not exclusive to Amazon then you can use Calibre (or a similar program) to create different formats and hand them out manually.

Smashwords coupons to kindle versions may work. Or emailing the winner the mobi copy you created for Smashwords is also an option.
