Mike (dravack) | 2 comments Sorry for this post if it's in the wrong place. I need some new books to read so make some suggestions. Here's are two series that I really enjoyed. So something similar to these would be appreciated.

Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo
Day By Day Armageddon by J. L. Bourne

If anyone knows anything like these I'd be appreciative.

Carl (skeptic_rogue) | 19 comments Joe Mckinney's series is awesome.

Apocalypse Z. That is a book similar to Day By Day Armageddon in the the main character basically journals his experience. Does not have the military background though. Takes place in Spain.

Carl (skeptic_rogue) | 19 comments It should be noted McKinney just put out a brand new book called Savage Dead. Not part of the Dead World Series.

Mutated is another book in the Dead World Series that was not mentioned above.

Mike (dravack) | 2 comments So time for an update since I've been away from computer really for far to long. Finished the Hollowland series by Amanda Hocking. Someone on FB recommended it to me. It was alright. Starting on Raymonds book You and Me Against the World while also reading the Female Brain (at the request of my gf on the latter).

Also PS. Raymond if you read this email me back! I seriously thing an audio book format would be killer!

Armand Rosamilia (armandrosamilia) | 77 comments There is a brand new box set that just came out called "Epic Apocalypse" with Joe McKinney, Mark Tufo, Armand Rosamilia (me), Heath Stallcup, Shawn Chesser and John O'Brien... we each have a book in this, and it is huge. And only $3.99.

David Dalton | 5 comments Have you tried the Kill Them Dead Genesis - The Complete First Season by Mark Webb collection? I loved it. I would expect Season 2 in another couple of months.

Of course there is one of my all-time favorite zombie series: Arisen Genesis by Michael Stephen Fuchs . So far they have 4 novellas in this series, plus the prequel listed here. All are full of zombie and special forces action. 4 or 5 stars on every book. Glynn James and Michael Stephen Fuchs are the authors.

David Dalton | 5 comments And just a couple of weeks ago I came across another good zombie series: Hive by Griffin Hayes . The first book is free and then the author has a 3-novella collection available for $2.99

Hive The Complete Collection by Griffin Hayes

Another favorite from over a year ago: Double Barrel Season 1 (Zombie Thriller Series) by Grey West by Grey West. Zombies in the old west & Edison in NYC. Loved it, and want more!

Outpost Season One Box Set by Finnean Nilsen Projects by the Finnean Projects. Zombies in prison. Great!

message 19: by Thia (new)

Thia (thial) | 133 comments If you liked Day by Day Armageddon I think you'll like The Remaining by D.J. Molles. The Day by Day series was my favorite until I found The Remaining series and Day got bumped to second place.

If anyone has any other recommendations for me along these lines please share :)

message 20: by Raymond (new)

Raymond Esposito | 17 comments Thia: I saw you have The Rising in your to read- that's a great book. I would also suggest ex-heroes by Peter cline. A little different take on the zombie genre but a good read

message 21: by Raymond (new)

Raymond Esposito | 17 comments @mike- just saw your comment on the kickstart audio idea for my book. Ill send you an email, what the heck I'm game.

Thia (thial) | 133 comments Thanks Raymond! I'll give those a try. I've been a little hit and miss in this genre (which I'm new to) so recommendations are appreciated!
