We saw this on stay in Stratford years ago. Ian McKellan was Leontes. If the last scene is done well, it is magical and emotional. I have also seen Barbara Leigh-Hunt do Hermione. It was a wonderful production. One of my favorite characters in this is Autolycus. He makes me wonder what kind of people Shakespeare run into in the pubs.
