I had snuck out of my room unseen by anyone, and I made my way to the library. I had washed my face so I didn't look has horrible, but I still felt horrible on the inside.

cecilia Georgie had abandoned the training room, lost between the shelves. Naturally, she was with the books about species. She was always looking for information about hybrids, new things. New things always kept popping up, so she liked to stay informed. Georgie liked information, so the library was one of her favorite places. Meandering down the aisles of books, marveling at how easy it was to walk without a broken leg or clunky cast, Georgie finally settled on a thick, slightly dusty leather volume. She then proceeded to situate herself on a stepladder, right in that very place.

I wander around the library, not really looking for anything. I'm not really sure what to do now. Maybe reading a book will distract me from everything else. I make my way through the aisles and suddenly find myself a few feet away from Georgina. I consider walking away without saying anything, but she probably knows I'm here. "Hey." I act casual, like I'm looking for a certain book.

cecilia Georgie's ears had perked the moment Violet was within twenty feet of her. She'd been studiously ignoring her for a while, even after she'd spoken. For a few moments, Georgie said nothing. Of course, it was too be expected; Georgie seldom allowed conversations to spark. "Yes?" She asked with an arched eyebrow, not looking up from her book. She ran her finger down the old parchment page, the table of contents, until she saw what she was looking for.
Hybrids.
Her finger stopped, sliding across the lines so she could list the page number and then flipped to it, still waiting for a response. Her long, perfectly painted rainbow fingernails tapped the stool she was sitting on mindlessly, waiting. Georgie could guess what Violet was here about, but she wasn't going to bring it up. No matter how mean she was, Georgie wasn't cruel.

sol | 447 comments "Nothing," I shake my head, fingering a thick book on the shelf next to me. "I didn't want to seem rude by not saying anything..." I say pulling the book off the shelf and flipping through the pages, pretending to read.

cecilia Georgie sighed softly, closing her book but keeping her finger in it to mark her place. Her free hand ran through her loose brown hair, arching an eyebrow coolly. "Mm?" She mused, rolling her eyes. "Why don't I believe that?"

"I don't know. Why don't you believe it?" I flip through some more pages, occasionally catching some words. 'Demonic' 'The' 'Nephilim' 'Demons' 'Raziel'. I eventually just shut the book and hold it.

cecilia ((Tis fine, darling ^.^))

Georgie rolled her eyes, pulling her phone out of her pocket and slipping it between the pages of her book to mark her place. She then set it down on her stool and ran her slender, well painted fingernail across the spines of the books as she looked for another one. Of course, the one she wanted was too far out of her reach. So, being the resourceful agile Nephilim she was, Georgie jumped for it, reaching it easily. She set it down on top of the other book before answering, if somewhat reluctantly. "Because. You clearly wanna rant." She knew what it looked like; Georgie often sported that look, behind her wall of indifference.

I look down at my feet, not quite sure what to say. She's right of course, but I can't rant to anyone. It's not possible. No one will understand. And even if I do rant to Georgina, there's no way I'll be able to put my thoughts into words. "I do, but I can't."

message 11: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Georgie arched an eyebrow coolly, knowing the feeling but also knowing there was no way in hell that she'd show that knowledge. "Try," she suggested bluntly, as if she said the sky was blue. "Sometimes you'd be surprised what happens when you don't think about the words. It works wonders." On other people. Not so much for Georgie; she didn't share feelings. No one even knew what happened to her. Not even her parents. It was horrible, actually, that they didn't know her past. But she preferred to keep it that way.

I look up at her. "Well..." There's a sticky feeling n my throat keeping me from saying anything else. "I'd prefer if I just kept my feelings locked away for the moment. I really, really want to talk to someone, but..." I'm not sure how to explain it. "I don't know how to explain it." I sigh, exasperated.

message 13: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Georgie shrugged nonchalantly, arching an eyebrow. "Try me. You'd be surprised what I can figure out. It's not like I have no idea what's bugging you."

message 14: by sol, Touching Jace's Mango (new)

sol | 447 comments "It's fine. I don't want to talk about it anymore." I say as I put the book back on the shelf.

message 15: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Georgie shrugged, stretching her arms above her head and arching her back. "Your loss," she said simply, rolling her eyes.

message 16: by sol, Touching Jace's Mango (new)

sol | 447 comments "I'm just gonna go. Sorry for bothering you in the first place," I start to walk out of the library.

message 17: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Georgie sighed, her false annoyance dropping. "You don't have to go," she said softly. "I don't mind."

message 18: by sol, Touching Jace's Mango (new)

sol | 447 comments I turn around again. "It's not that I don't want to talk to you, I like you, but I'm not feeling very well." I say. Can you get headaches from thinking too much? Because I have a bad headache right now, all of a sudden. "I have to go," And with that, I'm out of the library.

message 19: by cecilia (new)

cecilia Georgie rolled her eyes. She seriously doubted that Violet liked her; not many people did. She shrugged, indifferent. Inside, she was slightly worried, but not enough to show.

((I'm gonna disappear soon, till about nine.))

cecilia Georgie sighed, rolling her eyes, and picked up the books she'd left sitting on the stool. Violet could run, but she couldn't hide from what she'd done to Bri, it didn't work like that. Honestly, Georgie knew that better than anyone. Still getting accustomed to the idea of standing on both legs--painless and normally--Georgie slipped her books into the backpack over her shoulder and left a few minutes after Violet.
