He put Declan's shirt back on him.
The physician laid Declan back down. "I'll be back later." he said before bowing and leaving the room.
The salve had numbed up the wound so he was no longer in pain.
Declan reached up and played with her hair.
Declan rolled his eyes. "I give up." he said.
Declan kissed her forehead. Watching her sleep.
He fell asleep not long after.
Declan shifted when she moved.
"Not really." he said honestly.

Declan sighed and got up out of his chair. He was in his study but was getting ready to leave. He left the room to go find Phoebe.
Declan smiled and kissed her temple when he got to her.
Declan shook his head. "No. I'm about to leave. There's some things I need to to deal with." he said.
"Like arguing with property owners." he said.
"Isn't it?" he said, rolling his eyes. "I need to go know. I will see you later." Declan said, pecking her lips before walking off.
Declan went outside and got on a horse that was brought to him. He went off into the village.

Declan chuckled when she said that. He took her gently, cradling her in his arms. "What are we gonna name her?" he asked.
