Declan rolled his eyes. "I'd forgotten." he said.
"What?" he asked his eyes snapping open.
"How do you know him?" he asked his eyes narrowing.
Declan sighed. "What do you want me to do?"
Declan took her chin and tilted it so she looked at him. "I hope you aren't responsible for my death." he said.
Declan sighed. He kissed her cheek and put his hand on her stomach.
Declan sighed and walked off. Coming back a few minutes later with an unshackled Xanthos.
"All you have to do is take the chains off."
"Does he have chains on?" he asked.
"Than you can't take any chains off." he said.
Declan waves a hand. "Never mind." he said. He turned to Xanthos. "Go."

"You okay?" he asked, absent mindedly fiddling with the sleeve of her dress.

"I love you." he said softly in her ear.
"You should sleep." Declan said.
Declan laughed. "Don't do that again. Please." he said softly.
Declan nodded, relief crossing his face.
Declan pecked her lips. "I will see you in the morning." he said, closing his eyes.
Declan slept through the night
Declan woke in the morning, holding Phoebe to him.
"I thought you weren't tired." he said teasinly through a yawn.

"It never ends." he muttered. "How long has it been since we had a day to ourselves?"
"That's what I thought." Declan said. He sat up and pressed a small, quick kiss to the nape of her neck.
"I can't exactly take a day off." he said.
"No one said you had to sleep." Declan said.
"You'll get back into normalcy."
"I love you." he finished.
