Declan watched as the guards brought his new wife to him. After his last wife left him, he went out and picked a new one. He picked Phoebe. She was beautiful, smart, what else did she need to be?

Declan smiled and walked up to her waving the guards away.
Declan held his hand out to her. "Phoebe." he said silkily.
He smiled softly. Declan bowed and kissed her knuckles. "How are you?" he asked her, straightening up.
"Good." Declan said. "Are you hungry? Tired?" he asked her. Declan intended to keep her. He didn't want her to leave, like his last wife.
"Let me show you to your room." Declan said. He had prepared a room for her until she felt comfortable sleeping with him.

Declan smiled and led her to her room. Opening her bedroom door for her.
He let her in and walked in behind her. "I hope you sleep well, M'lady." he said, missing her hand again then leaving her room.
Declan walked to Phoebe's room. Knocking softly on the door.
Declan opened the door and stepped inside. He smiled. "How did you sleep?" he asked her.
Declan smiled wider at her response and her smile. "Are you ready for dinner?" he asked, coming a little closer.
"Good." Declan said, holding out a hand for her.
Declan smiled and led her to the dining hall.
Declan walked in with her and everyone in the room bowed or curtsied.
He led her to her seat on his right side. Pulled out her chair for her then sat in his own.
