"Sam...." Mark stood up, his arms crossed as he looked at his one time friend. "What do you want with her?"

"Why do you care?" he snapped in an answer glaring at the floor
"Because I do alright? She;s pretty much the only friend I have right now. what do you want with her?"
Sam didn't have to answer because at the moment Alex appears in the door way, looking flushed
Mark threw one last glare it Sam before facing Alex again. "Hey....you okay?"
"Mark, I found something." She said in a rush, tripping over her own words as she looked right at Mark.
He glanced once more in Sam's direction, honestly not sure what to do. He wanted to know yes. Didn't want Sam here although he probably already knew whatever Alex had to say. And if this was the truth....what then....
Alex follows his glaze to see Sam. "Oh...." She said in surprise. She bites her lip wondering what he was doing here. She looks between the two boys looking for some answer
Mark just shrugged, honestly not sure himself what was going on, or how to explain any of it even if he did. Everything was so complicated.
Sam gave a grin and Alex narrows her eyes at him. "What going on...." She said slowly
"Nothing." Mark replied, glaring at Sam. "We were just talking. and Sam was about to go...."
Sam narrows his eyes at Mark. "Yes this conversion is over." He said then walked past Alex with a wink
Mark was glaring at where Sam disappeared for a moment before turning to Alex, silent for the moment.
"I don't even want to know." She said talking about Sam
"sorry about that." He let out a breath. "So....What did you find out?"
"Information about your death." She said, sounding fine. She didn't even looked like she remember they fight they had
((I don't even remember their fight....))He swallowed a bit nervously. "Yeah?" He asked, voice a bit shaky. "What did you find?"
((Well it wasn't really a figbht but she got upset and yelled something. I think he try to calm her down and she ran. It was a half fight I guess is the proper term for it))"Would you like to sit down first?" She ask trying to not freak him out
((haha okay!))"Okay..." He frowned, sitting down on the edge of her bed. "What dod you find?"
She danced from foot to foot. "Well your death wasn't random. It turns out, students have died in a fire at this school for the past years....."
His frown deepened. " Why did n ne else ever mention these? D you know what caused the fires?"
"Well see the deaths took place at least 20 years apart......" She said boucing up an down
"so every twenty years some other kid like me is killed my a fire?" He asked, frowning.
She nods. "Now....." She stopped and bites her lip. "I think there is a demonic ghost that lives here.... Can you remember anything from the night you died???"
He shook his head. "I'm sorry but no....That whole night is pretty much a blur...." He tried to remember but it gave him a headache. Strange for a ghost.
"Well something tells me it is a demonic creature that been here for a long time." She said, she was taking all of this very well for a person who never even believed in a afterlife. She was freaking out insdie but was taking this some what wel
He frowned, not sure what to think about all this. "Why is it killing us? why every 20 years? Is there someway to stop it?" He knew she probably wouldn't know but had to ask anyway.
She shakes her head, she didn't have a clue. In fact all she had was this theory.
He thought for a minute. Something else weird must have happened here..... "Do you have any idea where Mr. Day lives now? He always knew the weirder facts from history....Maybe we can ask him if anything happened here."
She was tapping her foot in thought. "I think he still lives in town." She said nodding
"Well let's go find him." Mark said, already half-way to the door. He needed to know this. Know what had happened to him.
Alex follows behind him with a tired yawn. "We can ask around town..."
"that's a good idea... or maybe there are records here somewhere?"
"Not that know of, if there is I can't get to them..." She said thinking hard about it
"I might be able to see if there's anyone around though and help you get to them." He pointed out. "I can go through walls. It shouldn't be that hard to check for people."
"Good idea. We should head to the offices then." She said taking a deep breathing. So far she had found out dead people are better then living people. She peck in the hallway before darting out
Mark had just walked through the wall, not bothering with the door. He really hoped his old teacher knw something. didn't get freaked out when he heard about him being a ghost now....
They went straight to the office. "Anyone in there?" She ask as she stood by the door
He put his head through the wall and looked around a bit. "I don't see anyone."
She nods and tried the door, of course it was locked. She growls softly before pulling out a bobby pin and picking the lock. She tried the door again and boom she was in
Mark was In already, having went through the wall. The filing cabinet maybe? If he still lives where he did when he worked here it shopuldn't be too hard to find him."
Alex when walking over to the filing cabinet and look it in, it was for students. She sighs and heads over to the next one. "Keep watch!" She hiss over at MArk
"Will do." He said, going to wait by the door and sticking his head through it. So far they were all in the clear. "Any luck?"
Alex was sitting on the ground looking through a cabin. "Yep." She said without looking up
"Coast is still clear." He reported, glad that this was going smoothly. "thanks again for helping me....You didn't have to do any of this."
She just shrugs at his thanks as she found the file she was looking for
"what does it say?" He asked, glancing back at her again after checking to make sure no one was coming. "Does he live nearby?"
She nods as she scan the file. "he lives in town but it is a bit out in the woods." They should be able to go tonight and get to school on time the next day
"Alright. Can we go now?" He asked. "Do we have time to get there?" He asked anxiously, pulling his head back through the wall.
She nods. "Yea, I may only get a couple hours of sleep for school but we can make it." She said jumping up
