Alex held back a sigh as she walked up to him. "Don't worry Mark, We will figure out a way out of this. We always seem to be getting into trouble these day but we find a way out. Nothing terrible is going to happen to me. I have you and Sam to help me out."

Mark nodded, still worried but saying nothing, there had to be someway to stop the demon for good.
Alex patted his shoulder. "Please..." She begged, knowing worry wouldn't cause stress for him since he was a ghost and all but when he was worried, she was worried.
"I just don't want you to die....anytime soon at least. This demon....he has to be stopped. You deserve to live a long, full life."
Alex raise an eyebrow. "I am one person Mark, the demon could turn on anyone in this school... He could kill anyone. You need to stop worrying about my fate and just try to stop this demon."
"He's shown an interest in coming after you though. Not the others. You. That's why I'm worried."
"Yes but if he cant get to me because of me that means he may lash out at other people." She pointed out
Mark frowned, not having really thought of that.
She pokes him in the chest. "See you too caught up worrying about me when you have to see the big picture."
"Well you are the only one who can see me that I can warn..."
She took a deep breath, she forget that fact all the time. "Mark I sorry.." She whispers
"It's not your fault....." he shook his head. he was glad to have someone .tk talk to st all.
She shrug still feeling bad about it. "I know.." She sighed
Mark remained silent, there wasn't anything he could say to that.
"I should go to bed..." She mumbles pulling away from him to head back to her bed.
Mark nodded. "I'll keep watch. He won't get you tonight."
Alex shrugs, all the fight left her. She almost wanted to throw her hands in the air and shout who cares any more but she didn't do anything beside pull the blanket over her head. of course she was going to get any sleep together but it was better than having Mark see the tears that came to hers. Alex bit her lip hard to keep from crying. She didn't know what came over her, all she knew everything suddenly felt helpless and that was something not even Mark could keep her from.
((Sure))The next day Alex was on edge. She been jumping at every sound. She got no sleep last night which made matter worst and everyone was getting on her bad side. She had snapped at least at five people today and it was only lunch time. Of course Alex had skip breakfast and was now skipping lunch. She was outside sitting on a bench feeling the sun on her face.
Mark had been nearby all day but had been staying out of her sight while keeping her in his. Now though he sat on the bench next to her. "You'll need to eat at some point ya know." He pointed out.
She didn't even open her eyes to look at him. "I know but I just don't feel like eating.." She told him. She was lying, she felt like she could eat a horse but every time she looked at food she couldn't bring herself to take a bite. "I will eat at dinner." She said with a small shrug.
"Yu better, or I'll keep you up by talking all night." He joked, trying to lighten the mood a bit and calm her down. So far tody he'd seen no sign of the demon.
"And make me even more bitter?" She tease him back playing along with this game. This game to act if everything was some what okay. She lean on his a little. "If I sleep right now would that be such a problem?" She ask him closing her eyes a little
"Go ahead. You can miss a few classes and I can watch out for you. Besides, I think it's weaker during the day than at night. You'll be safe here."
Alex laughed. "Oh Mark what would...." She never finish her thought because she was fast asleep on his shoulder.
He smiled, glad that she was getting rest. He stayed where he was, watchful for anything. He wondered where Sam was.
As if hearing his thought, Sam appear. "She sleeping so I guess that means she didn't get any sleep last night. Don't blame her." Sam leans against the bench. "Not sure why she chosen to sleep outside, it is hot out here." Of course the heat didn't brother Sam but he still made a face at it. Sam let silence fall before asking the important question. "You have a plan?"
Mark shook his head. "No. I wish I did but...I don't know what we can do Sam. I don't know how we're supposed to beat a demon."
"If only we were like those demon hunters on all those movies and TV shows. I seen a lot TV since dying, people love it. I remember growing up not having a lot of TV it was a treat but now people are always watching it." Sam drone on because he hasn't talked to another person in a long time and he missed having a friend. Sam tapped his chin. "Maybe there something on the internet to beat a demon."
"Maybe. But how much of it do you think would be real? and how are we supposed to use a computer anyway?" They could always ask Alex when she woke up again to look it up for them, they could watch her back while she did it.
"Well it is a worth a shot if I may say so myself. We got no better ideas and it looks like me and you are stuck trying to save Alex." Sam said with a shrug. "We got to try something."
Mark nodded. "We'll ask her when she wakes up. We'll figure this out somehow." He hopped. There had to be a way to defeat the demon.
Sam nodded with him and sat down on the bench. "I sorry by the way..." He said looking at a tree to the right. "For when we were still alive.... I wasnt the best of friends..."
Mark shook his head. "I wasn't always either. its fine. it doesn't matter now."
Sam gave him such a sad grin that it show just how much he regrets his life. "Death..... it puts us in our place doesn't it?" Sam lean back against he bench and threw his arms up in the air with a yawn.
