I did not get pre-approval for this because I thought the skyline was clear, but Kristi says it is similar to one you didn't approve, so I thought I'd stop in and check:
Your thoughts?
Also, in case Paris was the Place does not count or it's too late to get it approved, would this work as a skyline?

Yeah, with this book the only building that is clearly defined against the sky is the Eiffel Tower, and it needs to be a group of buildings clearly defined against the sky. But Seraphina will work!

Ok, thanks for getting back to me right away!
Never mind - just realized I can't use the book I was thinking of because the author's not new to me. Whoops!
Would this cover fulfill the requirement for skyline? Part of the skyline of London is in the backgroundChildrens is one of the genres listed but the book is 311 pages.

Yes, that will be fine!
Option A NY setting? for Ellis Island by Kate Kerrigan I was originally thinking it would work for setting in New York State based on the description. I don't think you specify how much of the book should take place in NY. The story starts in Ireland and she travels to New York to earn money and then later she returns to Ireland.

Ya, looking at the description for the book, this looks like it will work just fine. :)

"Oo, this is another tricky one. I think I'm going to have to say no on this one, because there's only one building that actually defined by the sky. The other buildings have other buildings behind them, or are hazy in the background.
The Big Book of Christmas Mysteries andJingle Bell Romance
I hope these work. I do not know how to add a cover! :(

For the Big Book of Christmas Mysteries, I'm guessing you wanted to use that one for Option B, with the book on the cover? Since it's not clear that was she is holding is a book, I'm going to have to say no for that one!
For the Jingle Bell Romance, I'm guessing you wanted to use that one for Option A, the skyline? I'm also going to have to say no for this one, because there aren't a group/row of buildings defined against the sky.
I was wanting to use the cover of The 19th Element for option A.
It has a rather non traditional skyline. What do you think?
