Rae looked up at him. "I shouldn't be bothering you with my problems." she said. Rae sat quietly for a minute before grabbing her back; climbing out his lap and getting out his truck. Running home.

He cursed slightly and drive after her. He rolled down the window. "Rae, please get back in the truck?"
Bianca waved him off and continued home.
"rae!" He stopped the car and got out, running after her. He grabbed her hand "Rae stop!"
"What do you want?" she rasped. Not turning to look at him.
"what do i want...? I want to take you home. I want you to not feel guilty." He hugged her from behind. "i want to see you happy."
Rae bit her lip as a few tears streaked her cheeks. "Why? Why do you care?" she asked quietly.
"rae..." He bit his lip. He couldn't tell her his feelings. It would possibly run their friendship. "i just do." He murmured, wiping away her tears.
Rae let him do so but after he was done she stepped away. "I need to get home." she said walking again.
"let me drive you." He pleaded, walking beside her "it's at least another mile." Jordan attempted to reason with her.
"Jordan, please." Rae said turning a corner. "Let me walk."
"fine." He said though he stayed next to her "but I'm walking with you."
Rae glanced at him. "Go back to your truck, Jordan." she said, knowing her parents would probably be fighting when she got home.
"no." He said stubbornly.
Rae sighed as they got to her house. She could hear the screaming.
Jordan frowned "it's gotten worse than the last time i was here..." He looked at her "Rae, please stay the night at my apartment." He begged "you can't live in these conditions."
Rae bit her lip. She didn't want to be a burden.
"Rae, please." He pleaded "you need to relax, not get wound up in your parents' fighting." He told her. He held his hand out to her. "come on."
Rae looked at him, then took his hand nodding. "I need some stuff though.." she said softly.
"alright but I'll go in with you." He murmured, holding her hand securely.
Rae nodded and went inside. Grimacing at her parents screams.
He squeezed her hand softly "lets just get your stuff." He said gently, going with her to her room.
Rae got to her room and dropped his hand. She got a duffel bag and pack some clothes and toiletries.
He watched, blocking out her parents.
Rae zipped up the duffel bag and put it on her shoulder.
He took her hand and started leading her out.
Rae clung to his hand as they left her house.
He walked her back to his truck. "Rae... I'm sorry... "
"your parents..." He murmured. "i actually do understand what you're going through. My parents used to fight all the time."
"Its not your fault." Rae said, her voice cracking.
"No, but I'm sorry that i can't do anything to fix it." He murmured. He noticed her voice crack and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "it'll be okay though."
Rae nods and bites her lip. She put her head on his shoulder as they walked back to his truck.
He opened the passenger door for her.
Rae gets in. Putting her bags by her feet and buckling up.
He got in the drivers side and drive to his apartment building. He turned on the radio .
Rae leans her head against the headrest and closes her eyes.
He sang quietly along with the radio, trying to lighten the mood.
"Jordan. Please." she said softly.
He instantly stopped "sorry..." He muttered. He pulled up to the apartments and parked. "I'll get your bag." He murmured.
Rae sighed and nodding. Getting out of his truck
He grabbed the bag and walked up to his apartment. School had just ended so maybe he could tell his mom they left school a bit early.
He opened the door for her. "home sweet home."he murmured.
Rae smiled a bit when he said that. She stepped inside.
"mom! I'm home!" Jordan called out, closing the front door. He set her bag in his room "you can sheep in my bed. I'll just crash on the couch." He told her
Rae nods. She sighed and sat on the edge of his bed. Rubbing her eyes tiredly.
