(view spoiler)[This is my favourite book in the series so far! So many things happened and the storylines that got wrapped up were all done in a way that felt satisfying to me. Although that Arobynn thing felt a bit easy, to be fair it was part of the chain reaction that allowed Aelin and Manon to meet and for Dorian to be saved, so it still worked well story-wise.

That ending was way too hopeful, I'm absolutely dreading all the horrors that are coming up! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ That was AMAZING!!!! I couldn't put it down once I got to the last 80 pages or so. Kaltain! That made me sad, but gosh dang, at least she's free. Rowan and Aelin, yes, yes, yes!! I definitely want more of that! Dorian is free and Chaol isn't being a dick anymore!! These two things were really important to me... Elide is free too!! I love that Manon saved her. And Manon is figuring out she doesn't have to be evil, which I love. So I laughed, I cried (like a lot near the end, no need to nitpick), and gushed over this book. My absolute favorite so far!! Now I'm primed and ready for the next one!! (hide spoiler)]
