Still a solid ending though, I trusted Archer 0% since the start and I'm glad that he died. (Mean of me, I know)

I am sad that Nehemia is gone but honestly I didn't even expect her to survive the first book, so there's that at least.

I'm not sure how I feel about Celaena going kinda back and forth with the boys but eh, it's a pretty damn difficult situation so I can't really judge. (hide spoiler)]

I loved that Celaena took the time to learn this girl how to defend herself, I liked her advice too:'Teach it to every girl that wants to listen'. I mean SERIOUSLY. She should have known better. Sam probably should have known better too. They both know how manipulative and tricky Arobynn is, and they walked right into it. I nearly facepalmed at Celaena trying to pin the blame on anyone BUT Arobynn at the end there. (hide spoiler)]

I really liked this set of novellas, it solidifies Celaena's backstory and motivations and is definitely worth a read if you already like the series.

I'll be moving on to Heir of Fire... Eventually.

The novella bindup was published between Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire so that's probably the best order to read it, but you can really read them whenever. Sooner is better than later though.

I'll probably start Heir of Fire late next week or the week after that, I have 2.5 books I need to finish before it.
