Yes, Cain has something to do with it indeed. But I think Nehemia knows more as well! I found it a bit strange that she wanted to know all the details about the death.. And another strange thing about her is that she always looks at Celaena's forehead! Maybe she can read her mind or see if she's lying. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[So many unanswered questions! What kind of magic can Celaena do (she's hiding it!!)? What's her wyrdmark? Who betrayed Celaena? And I actually feel sorry for Kaltain, wow, and somehow wished Nehemia was the villain, if only for that plot twist, that heartbreak, you know. We already knew about Cain and the Duke. I didn't suffer enough reading this book lmao. Also. The romance was weird and I was glad to see it end tbh

I gave the book a 4-star rating.
Although I didn't like Celaena in the beginning, I liked here more and more throughout the book. (Luckily :p)
For me, the story got interesting really fast and that's something I like in books. Otherwise I feel like I'm wasting my time.
Like Ceci I have a lot of questions but I hope we'll get some answers in the next book.

I like reading more about his relationship with Celaena and how this came to be. I hope to read more about Sam and their relationship in the following stories. I'm not sure how I feel about the prince or Chaol just yet. I feel a love triangle coming on I think. I want to have this one done this week just so I can see if there's a love triangle!!
