She managed to get bens body back. I wasnt expecting that. I hope Celaena frees the slaves. Did arobynn send ben out and have him killed? Sam is bringing some good questions to mind. Oh no i feel like Rolfe got them.

She def seems like she needs it. Good thing Celaena taught her, i wonder if she will have to use them again.
Ansel seems like an interesting chara. So shes royal. Oh boy the masters son got eyes on her. I wonder if the master will train with her. I wonder if those bones were really maddys. They are stealing the horses lol i love it! Damn i cant believe Celaena punched ansel. Oh wow so ansel lied her father didnt send her, he died and so did her sister. (hide spoiler)]

I really feel like sam and celaena are going to get together. I really thought sam was going to tell celaena he likes her. Im so happy that sam finally told her. I wonder where they are going to go once they do this last mission. I wonder if sam is going to die. Of course he died everything was going good for her. (hide spoiler)]

It was arobynn who had sam killed just because he is greddy. He didnt want to share celaena. Why didnt he just pay sam to leave or something. Why did he have to die? I wonder if thats why ben died. Because he was to close to her.
I wonder what these mines will be like. Im still very sad about sam. Im very interested in seeing where her life will go from here.

So her name is Kaltain and her father is very rich. Oh wow she broke her own hand because arobynn pretty much made her so she could be good with her left hand.
I feel like chaol and her will become friends. I wonder if the prince will go to her chambers. Does chaol like celaena? That was nice of her to save that guy. She seems like shes becoming good friends with that princess. Of course the queen would tell the prince not to marry for love and she even had a list for him. Well shoot I couldn’t put this down! I was nervous to read this series because all of the hype but now IM ALL IN! How can I already love Celeana SO MUCH?! Also I ship her with Chaol so can that happen sooner rather than later? I like Dorian too just not as much. Also a competition between assassins?!? SIGN ME UP! this is one of my favorite troupes and I’m so excited to follow it even though I’m sure Celeana will win (there are a billion more books so I just assume...). But who is killing the contestants? My money is on another contestant or someone who sucks and killed those dogs! Also I know some spoilers about Celeana so I can see where SJM is giving us some very subtle hints about her identity! Must keep reading ASAP. (hide spoiler)]

Whoops I was too busy to check in because in my free time I was devouring this book. There was a little lull in the middle and I kind of wish we got to see more of the Tests. I LOVED the poison one and thought it would be fun to see more of those types. But anyway the last Duel with Cain was INSANE and made up for all of that. And when she fought the Ridderack had be sitting up and reading as fast as I could flip the pages. I KNEW Cain was the one controlling it and getting the powers. I’m glad Nehemia revealed herself to Celeana and I hope we see more of her. I do not trust this King and I hope she doesn’t either!! Gah this love triangle is gonna drive me BATTY but I’m so team Chaol. I’m started The next one immediately because I shamelessly wanna see some more sneaky assassin action. Also I’m still a little confused about the other realms and felt like a LOT of information was thrown at us in the end, but hopefully it gets clearer as the series goes. I LOVE CELEANA and need more now. (hide spoiler)]

Yes I finished the last book and immediately started this one. Boy it didn’t disappoint. I am soooo proud of Celeana for having her own plan to find out the King’s plan and letting people live instead of just killing them even tho she has no attachment to them. Obviously the King wants to take over all the territories and probably will use a zombified army or something to get it. He is using the Duke to work magic and yet he got rid of it. I need to know more. Also I need more Chaol and Celeana PLEASE. (hide spoiler)]

A big part of these chapters was a lullll and I started to lose my attention. I wanted answers about the creepy thing outside the library, the rebels in the city, and be riddle. And then WHAM all hella breaks lose! I did not see that coming. The chapters when Chaol was kidnapped and Nehemia was murdered when by in a flash and had me seriously having anxiety. I was so worried about Chaol that I didn’t even think Nehemia would be killed! Ugh! Now I really don’t have any idea where the story will go. I want to know more about Dorian’s magic and that is being dragggged out. (hide spoiler)]
