I was interested to read in Peter Falk's autobiography Just One More Thing: Stories from My Life that he starred alongside Truman Capote in Murder By Death. There are a couple of anecdotes mentioned in the book about Truman Capote researching In Cold Blood.

Always mildly surprising too that Stephen king wrote stand by me, at a time when he used to be all about the blood and guts....
So that was Truman Capote in 'Murder by Death'? I remember watching that on TV years ago. Maggie Smith was in it too (and Peter Sellers playing a Chinese detective (very dodgy by today's standards).
