YES! In dystopian/scifi:

Partials (Partials, #1) by Dan Wells This series is REALLY good, and the sequel is even better. Third book to come.

The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness Only my favorite dystopian series ever!

Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman So eerie and awesome!

Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant This series is REALLY entertaining.

Mystery/suspense/crime: I Hunt Killers (Jasper Dent, #1) by Barry Lyga Really good book about the kid of a convicted serial killer. The author is awesome too and is coming to the fan group on September 13th to take questions :)

Sorry, drawing a blank on others as I'm having trouble keeping track of which are 1st person versus 3rd person, but I loved all these ones! Good luck :)

Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1) by Beth Revis A Million Suns (Across the Universe, #2) by Beth Revis Shades of Earth (Across the Universe, #3) by Beth Revis is another good 3rd person POV--Sci-Fi/ Dystopian. The series gets better with each book, too which I love!

Totally agree with Partials and the Gone series! I will read TKoNLG someday, I have to if its one of David's favorites! Also Unwind.

I loved Incarceron and Sapphique, but it seems to get a lot of mixed reaction. I also liked Uglies!

Don't worry, David, I will read it! Its always checked out at the library though. I will probably have to put it on hold.

Gabby Ummm Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas is the only one I can think of at the moment...oh, and City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare (They're third person aren't they??)

Zoe Cannon (zoecannon) A glance through my shelves gives me these:

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore Very well-written YA fantasy. (And if you like YA fantasy, Tamora Pierce is the go-to author for the genre; her books are third-person too.)

Contributor (Contributor, #1) by Nicole Ciacchella Underrated indie YA dystopia. I can't pass up a chance to recommend this book.

Viral Nation (Viral Nation #1) by Shaunta Grimes Third person, multiple POVs. YA sci-fi time-travel dystopian with an autistic main character.

Glow (Sky Chasers, #1) by Amy Kathleen Ryan Another book I can't pass up a chance to recommend. YA sci-fi with dystopian elements.

Birthmarked (Birthmarked, #1) by Caragh M. O'Brien Post-apocalyptic dystopia from a few years ago.

Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles, #1) by Melina Marchetta YA fantasy. I haven't actually read this one, but it's been sitting in my TBR pile for ages.

Dancing Days (Helicon Muses, #1) by V.J. Chambers Indie YA urban fantasy with muses.

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi Another from the TBR.

And All the Stars by Andrea K. Höst Sci-fi from the TBR. I haven't read this one, but I read and loved a pair of non-YA fantasy novels (I hesitate to call them "adult" fantasy novels because that brings to mind an entirely different genre) by the same author.

Katya's World (Russalka Chronicles, #1) by Jonathan L. Howard More sci-fi from the TBR. I've heard a lot of good things about this one.

My book The Torturer's Daughter by Zoe Cannon is also in the third person, but I'm always hesitant to bring up my own books in these discussions - I don't want to look like I'm shoving my books down anyone's throat or anything.
