What do you think about the Series?

I've always loved the series, and although I'm never one to do reread a book many times, this series gets so interesting I just can't top rereading them.
You guys excited for the next book? If you ask me, they take WAAAAAAY too long to come out - I mean, once a year? That's pretty slow compared to other series, if you ask me. There's just so many more books needing to come out I think that some will already have lost interest by the time the series is complete.
Oh, and what about the movies?

I love, love, love the series! His books are just completely addictive. But for the movies...to me, that is, they totally SUCKED eggs. I mean, Percy as a teen? Stupid plot twists, sorry to movie fans, but I totally hated the movie. And to think I was totally psyched for its release. Yep, love the books better.
I love the books. I have always been a huge fan of mythology and I think the author does a great job of retelling the stories in modern times. I was so disappointed with the first movie, but I have heard to the second is mush better.
the percy jackson series is probably the best series i've read and I can't wait for the next movie.:)
A great series. A series for all ages. I love this series. the series maintain its momentum as the story progress.
i <3 the series and can read all of them in less then a week.
I have loved these books for many years now, I think they are highly educational and entertaining for any age range. As for the movies, I enjoyed the second movie far more than I did the first, and yes I agree, one year is way too long! However most of the books I have read do take quite a while to come out. :(
I love the series and liked the movies though some things did bother me. Also, It's better to wait a year than have him rush and not make a quality book.
